Perros y Caballos (Dogs & Horses)
It's been fun having horses nearby! Canela (translates to cinnamon in English) and her filly Flash, were rescue horses. Canela, weak from hunger, had fallen and become trapped in a rocky stream bed and lay there for days before she was found. She had deep wounds, down to the bone, from rubbing against the rocks and she still shows the scars. They were in terrible shape, but with love and care they have become beautiful horses.
