So this is it. Our new town. It's a ten minute walk from our house. I don't know where those horses came from. Can't believe they're loose right next to that road where the cars and motorcycles zip by so fast!
Stella's has a great breakfast and lunch and dessert menus. And she gives a discount to locals!
Casem is the local women's coop and sells arts and crafts produced by local women.
Casemcoop has a little tico restaurant in the back. It's where BigJohn and I ate our first meal after arriving in Monteverde. More about that later!
The local grocery store sells organic produce. It's a really tiny store but we're glad it's there!
This daycare/preschool is located right next to WholeFoods.
That's the grocery store on the left and a little Art Gallery on the right.
Another view of CasemCoop.
Closeup of the art gallery.
The trail that takes off behind CasemCoop. Somebody made a nice little trail teaching about local plants.
Another view of Stella's Bakery. They have a bird feeder out back that has the most colorful magnificent birds showing up! BigJohn's going to make me one for our yard.
The little restaurant in the back of CasemCoop.
I love how everything is so quaint! Such a nice atmosphere.
