Then there is an opening in the trees and this little walkway down to the house.
This is the southern view and a dining area window. Back door to the washroom is on the right out of view.
Front of the house faces northwest.
View from the front deck. Notice BigJohn with the binoculars checking out some wildlife.
Above is Malak and below is Mia. They belong to Hannah and Francisco but stop by and visit often. Hector is starting to let his bristles down and tone down his snarl.
Two horses live in the front pastures. This one got out yesterday. Tried to kick BigJohn when we were shooing it back inside the fence. Hannah says they are two of the rudest horses she has ever met. This one attached her while she was crossing the field one day to take a cookie away from her! They seem quite nice though when they come up to the fence to take a piece of fruit.
Can you see the lime? It's right in the middle of the picture. Also have a banana tree and some other fruit I don't remember the name of.
The house is quite rustic and simple but we do have running water and electricity! This is the living room. Notice all the large windows. They have blinds but we never need to lower them as we are so far off the road and there are no people close by.

The house came with a typical Costa Rica coffee maker -
Washroom has a typical sink that I think is used by many for washing clothes when they don't have a washing machine. The dryer is located outside the back door.
Bedroom with a great view of the yard. You can always find a bird in the trees out there. Was really nice the day I spent laying on the bed sick with the flu.
Extra bedroom which won't work out well for company unless they're single.
Bathroom with a shower around the corner. I don't think many of these homes have bathtubs.
Another view of the living room looking toward kitchen area.
It's a couple hours away, but we can see the ocean from here. And there have been glorious sunsets in the evening at about 5:30 every night. Nothing like Daylight Savings Time here. Sunset and sunrise are at about the same time throughout the year with only about a 30 minute variance.
